The Challenge

Travel Memories, a travel agency, approached us to rebrand their logo and brand identity to establish themselves as a trusted and reliable travel partner. The challenge was to create a logo and brand identity that captured the brand values and resonated with their target audience. The objective was to cut through the competitive travel and tourism market and create a memorable brand image.

The Solution

Through in-depth conversations with Travel Memories, we gained a thorough insight into their core values and aspirations. We then created a new logo and brand identity that reflected these values and conveyed a sense of trust, safety and reliability to the customers. We carefully selected the brand colours and font styles, ensuring that each aspect reinforced the message of Travel Memories being a dependable travel companion. This rebranding aimed to position Travel Memories as the preferred choice for travellers seeking unforgettable travel experiences.

The Creative Process

Logo

The new logo mark that we designed is a flat logo design which includes two main elements:

  • The location pin: It represents the many travel destinations customers can explore with Travel Memories.
  • The negative space in the shape of an aeroplane: It highlights the brand’s focus on making travel easy and accessible. 

We used the golden ratio to make the logo visually striking and memorable. These elements combine to create a logo that seamlessly reflects the brand’s values and resonates with its target audience.

Colours

Travel Memories is a company with a modern and fresh aesthetic. To portray this personality and the brand values through the brand colours, we decided to use green and blue. The particular shade of green used here adds a sense of modernity and energy, while the blue reinforces the brand’s commitment to safety and trust.

We also designed the use case, from business cards to tote bags, to show the multiple ways for Travel Memories as a brand to become recognizable using the brand’s collateral.
